iTune's videos in quicktime

So i've tried playing video podcasts and music videos with iTunes in built player and they suck in terms of quality so i have to use quicktime to play them properly.

I was wondering, is there a way to make itunes play all videos in a separate quicktime window and not the in built player itself?

This is possible, and you will need QuickTime Pro to do it.

1. Open Video in iTunes.

2. Drag your selected video to your desktop and an MPEG4 file will appear.

3. Open QuickTime or any QT movie.

4. Go to File, then select Open File and a new QuickTime window will appear with the video you have selected. Press Save As and you can watch the video in a QT window whenever you want

If you want to keep the QuickTime formated video don't throw the MPEG4 file away otherwise the QuickTime video won't play.
