Q: ipad does not recognise SD card with CCK?

I am getting a little bored now of Apple products not quite doing what they are billed as being able to, or not quite as 'user friendly' as you're led to believe.

 

Latest example; my new camera connector kit does not get recognised by the ipad 3(new ipad?) and nothing happens.

 

Can anyone help please?

    How did the pictures get onto the card, direct from your camera or via your computer ? If you copied them onto from your computer then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them
