Redownload Messages App?

Hey,

I was having issues with iMessages coming from my Mac, they were starting seperate threads on other peoples devices. All my accounts were in perfect sync so I'm not sure what the issue was.

However I deleted the messages app to reinstall it and see if that would fix the issue.

Upon doing so I realised you can't redownload it, it is now part of the OS.

Such a stupid thing to do I know.

Contacted Apple and a guy is looking into it for me

But told me to come here and see if you lovely people could help?
