My Safari Crashes often when I hit Command-A to select all the text in a window. It was happening about once a week but it just happened twice in a row. Safari used to be very reliable but now it's very buddy.
iMac 20" 2.66 Dual Core; Dual 500 MHZ PowerPC G4, Mac OS X (10.5.7), HP 1350 PSC All-in-One; HP 840c Deskjet
Quit Safari if it's open.
Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go then move the Cache.db (or ApplicationCache.db) file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Try Safari.
If it crashes again, post a crash report in your reply. The entire report including the, "binary images" section.

Thanks, Carolyn! I've tried it, but I guess I won't know if that helped until and unless Safari crashes again. I'll try to replicate what cases the crash and see if it still does. Thanks! 🙂
It's still crashing a lot. This time I remembered to copy the error message.. Oh rats, it won't copy. I guess I'll type it while it's still open:
"This application quit unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5 plug-in.

I know my information above says 10.5.7, but I'm actually on 10.5.8. 🙂
I can't see any way to edit my posts, but I wanted to add tha this time Safari crashed when I just trying to load a web page. That actually happens all the time. I wasn't even trying to copy anything.
I'm running OS 10.5.8
I followed your instructions, and when it crashed again all I got was:
