Help! I cancelled migration and can´t find the files transferred

Hi,

I just got a new Macbook Pro retina and tried migrating with my old Macbook Pro 2010.

I then cancelled the migration.

After cancellation, I noticed that the Space Utilized on the disk is 118.83GB, which means that some files were transferred before cancelling migration.

My question is how to find these files?

I am a Mac user but not in any means an expert, so ant help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Dimi

OK, I see.

I would start over, boot to recovery (cmd-r) erase the drive and reinstall OSX, connect the old computer, reboot (do not set up a user account this time), and use Setup Assistant instead of Migration Assistant this time (thus avoiding the multiple account issue)

Note: It takes a long time, sometimes a very long time, do not interrupt it.

Recovery contains an installable copy of ML, as well as Disk Utility tools, make sure that you have an internet connection (ethernet is faster and more reliable than wireless)

Just caught macjacks suggestion, if you have a FW cable and both machines support it I second the suggestion, it is faster than all others available to you.
