I just replaced the CD/DVD Drive in my 17" model 4,1 iMac, the new drive works but won't eject the disk - how do I solve the problem?

I had the CD/DVD go bad in my 17" model 4,1 iMac and lockup, so I replaced the drive. It worked fine installing an application but won't eject the disk.

How do I solve the problem?

Hello Hal,

Are there files open on the inserted Disc still?

Open iTunes & see if Eject Disc works there, or...

Hold Mouse button down while booting up.
