Thanks for your help.
I installed iLife '11 on my computer but that didn't include an update for iWeb '08. So I don't have the option to publish to anything but a folder. I think the update that provided the ability to publish to an FTP was on iLife '09. Do you have any idea how I can get hold of that software?
Hi,
You can find it on Amazon or you can follow this tutorial that uses cyberduck to publish your site. It is similar to FileZilla;
This link to Amazon is for iLife '11, which I already have installed. What I need is iLife '09, which includes the update to iWeb '08 (my current version) that allows publishing to an FTP.
Any idea how I can update my iWeb '08 to iWeb '09?
Thanks.
Thanks, but I have iWeb '08 installed and when I publish to a folder, Cyberduck won't allow me to transfer files from the folder to the remote site.
iWeb version 3 is on the iLife '09 disk. You can also search for this on Amazon.
When iLife '11 came out, iWeb V3 and iDVD were on the disk although not advertised since they weren't updated. This disk will give you the updated version of the resy of the iLife apps and is better value.
If you are new to FTP, stay away from apps like Cyberduck and FileZilla and invest $1.99 in Yummy Lite...

Thanks, Roddy. I now have iWeb '09 installed and publishing my website is as easy as it used to be.
How do I publish new content created on iWeb using filezilla?
