Charging 24/7

I just replaced my battery and was curious if its okay to keep the charger adapter plugged in my mac when at use even though it is charged fully?

I mostly use it for both educational and personal purposes, for instance in university i use it to take notes and do regular check ups on emails, so estenially i use it 24/7.
