bluetooth problems with mazda cx-5

When I connect the iPod to the Mazda CX-5 through Bluetooth, the repeat and shuffle buttons do not work. As soon as it disconnects, it works fine. This happened after I updated to iOS 6. Another issue I was having even with iOS 5 was that when I am connected with bluetooth to the CX-5, there is no time when the song is playing (just shows 0'0" all the time), and the only on screen functions on the car stereo that work are the play/pause and skip buttons. The folder buttons do not work as well. The only real way for me to navigate is through playlists or manually through the iPod itself. Hard to tell if this is an iOS issue, or Mazda issue, but i've seen similar issues from people with the iPhone on iOS 6. Will this get addressed with an update?

Thanks to this string, this morning I discovered my "Bluetooth Options" in my 2015 Mazda CX-5. By pressing the "speaking head" icon on the steering wheel, the Mazda speaks, telling me my options including "shuffle." Saying shuffle takes me to a sub-menu that includes "all." This has worked twice. But once, it worked for two songs, then started playing songs in alphabetical order.

According to my Mazda dealer, "Mazda is aware of several issues relating to phone and I-pod integration and as of today there are no updates."

There is another string, My Mazda CX-5 Bose Stereo keeps forgetting the blue tooth settings, where someone in the UK expects to have their Mazda software updated next week. They have promised to post any Mazda identification numbers that might be available to them, so that the rest of us can take specific information to our respective dealers.
