Where can I download de IOS 4.2.1 for and Ipod Touch?

i've recently got an Ipod Touch 2nd generation and i read the latest update for that is the IOS 4.2.1, i want to upgrade the IOS but when i try directly from Itunes i doesn't work, i want to try to do it manually because i read this ios version is free, can you send me please the link where i can download it if its free
