If I set background color to black and change font color to, say white - the default cursor colour is still black so I can't see it...
Is there a way of changing command prompt color in Pages(iWorks) (and possibly also type, i.e. blinking square - commodore type) so I can see it while editing the text?

If you start writing or do a selection of text you know where you are. I don't think you can change the default cursor colour.
Well, if I start editing the text and go back and forth then I can't see the black cursor on the black background... it's pretty annoying. The problem doesn't exist inside 'text fields' however.

You could consider changing the background color and text color after you have done all editing.
Yes, that's sort of solution, but that's not very convenient. Especially for people who are used to terminal type of environment. Especially if you do a lot of editing(hours..) and you're used to dark background...
Software should adapt to my habits not the other way round if you know what i mean.
Well, after having used computers for the last 20 years I have learned that the user has to adapt to the application/program. You just have to find an application that will do what you like or you have to change your way of working.
