Pairing headset with iMac

I bought a Jabra Sport headset to use with my iMac while doing workout DVDs. The headset pairs, but disconnects within moments. Sometimes it works, but usually I lose the connection immediately. Any ideas/fixes? I've contacted Jabra, but they only seem to know how to pair it with a phone.
