Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I got to the point where it shows the usb cord on screen of ipod - nothing happened after that.

i connected to computer - didnt see restore. I just set up this acct today - my son set up first act when he got ipod. Do I need to use that act?

You need iTunes version 10.7 on the computer.

Hi everyone! My ipod is disabled and I've listened to all your suggestions but none of them have worked and now I can't even turn my ipod on! Please please help me ASAP!

If you know the password you can also connect to itunes and preform a sync. this way you will not have to whipe the device. I have to do this at least once a day due to little fingers attempting to play with the device.
