i have wi fi connection but my printer says its not connected, what do i do?

i have wi fi connection but my printer says it cannot be connected. any thoughts on how to get it connected so i can print?

Hi - you have not given a lot of info to go on - so I am going to assume that the installation went well and you entered your wireless network name (SSID) and password etc. - so I would have to sugget that you power off and power on the printer to see if that works - if not then power off the whole network (modem, router(s), computer(s) and printer in any order - then re-power starting with the modem (be sure to pull and replace the battery if it has one) then the router, computer and printer - make sure each device re-boots completely before going to the next device - if this doesn't work then I would contact the printer manufacturer support people and see what they say.
