why are my templates in latin

My pages templates are all in latin or french, something other than english. First,Why? Second; how, if possible do I change this?

Select the text and type what you want. The text there is just a position holder for the text you wish to put there.

Hi Dew,


  1. Latin. So that you can see the shape of the text on the page without being distracted by the meaning of the words.
  2. Click in the text. Start typing. It's placeholder text. and clicking automatically selects all of the text in that container. A single keystrole deletes all the placeholder text and starts replacing it with the 'real' text (in whatever language you choose.
