How to permanently delete Apps from all devices and the iCloud.

In iOS the user must be in control of own data, including the possibility to allow or deny to have Apps stored in the iCloud. One must be able to permanently delete a selected App from both all devices and the iCloud, including the entry in the purchase history, with a single operation. One must also be able to permanently delete all Apps at once, if one wants to. If you have information on how to do this, please share it here. If no such information is available, because Apple does not implement it, then please post here in support of this feature.

To check if you are affected, open the App Store, click on Updates, then Purchased, then "not in this iPhone". You will be presented with the list of Apps that you thought you have deleted from the iPhone and the iTunes on your Mac. The Apps are still in the iCloud, however. The question is, how to permanently delete them.

My question concerns the fundamental rights of the paying customers over the data collected by Apple.

Apple allows the client to "hide" the listing of purchased items. However, the listing is still in Apple's databases!

Although the EULA is too long, and therefore I did not read it, there are more general laws that

overrule any EULA. One such law is the European Data Protection, that allows individuals to demand

corrections or deleting of their data. Yes, Apple has its HQ in the USA. However, the Apple Store has

national branches across the lucrative European market, where European laws apply, and therefore

Apple *must* allow its European clients to correct or delete their own data, emphasis on *must*.

Any personally identifiable data is personal data. If you are a European citizen,

your personal data is protected by the European Data Protection law.

Your purchase history with Apple is part of your personal data,

because Apple stores that data in a non-anonymous form.

Are you paying attention?

Yes I am. But evidently you aren't. Your assessment of what the law provides is simply inaccurate. Consult a lawyer if you feel that strongly about it. It will be easy money for him to tell you no as well.

At any rate, you certainly aren't going to hear what you want or expect on this forum. It is not something we can help you with other than to point out reality, and that obviously doesn't work for you.
