My App Store language has changed from English to Portuguese after visiting brazil - how do I change it back to English?

My language in the AppStore has changed from English to Chinese and I followed the steps to switch it back but I still have 26cents on a gift card still in my phone so it won't let me switch back to English so what do I do. PLEASE HELP

My news feed is in French as are any apps that I choose that have a French equivalent. I have logged out of Apple ID and logged in again, stating I am in the UK. Nothing changed. I have logged out of App Store, I have tried clearing the cache and browser in Safari and so far nothing has worked. I have now turned off the App Store and shut down my iphone. I am just restarting it and praying this will work. I am sick of having to put in bank details and address every time I have tried sorting this problem through the Apple ID. I do visit France quite regularly but I am at a loss to understand why, when I have never accessed the App Store from France, it has suddenly decided to offer me French apps. Same applies for French news feed. Phone back on and nothing has changed, newsfeed and app store still in French! uuuuuuggggghhhhhh scream

Know this is an old question, but my new iMac came up in German for Siri. I went to the Apple System Preferences, clicked on Siri and there is a drop down for the language you desire. Worked like a champ.

Change to English

1. App Store>Featured>Apple ID (at bottom of page)

2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID

4. Enter your password

5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

This is useful except if you understand the language that your apple store is currently in. Unofrtunately, mine is in Japanese (after having visited Japan) so I have no clue how to follow your indications!

I have been payign a subscription for various months and have not been abel to cancel it.

i was able to switch from japanese back to finnish by logging out from appstore in settings. then opened appstore and signing back in. it made the switch to my language automatically. maybe because my ipad knows my current location. good luck!

Just log out of your apple id and log in again and it say something of switching to English. That should work.
