Q: I am locked on a screen with a picture of the Apple tv box, a white cable, and the iTunes symbol.  How do I reset?

A box popped up earlier saying there was an apple tv update available.  I launched the update, and it froze after completing step one of two.  Now, when I try to reset / re-start Apple tv I get to a screen with a picture of the Apple tv box, a white connection cable coming out of it, and the iTunes symbol (musical notes surrounded by blue).  I cannot re-set using the silver remote, not sure what else to do.?
