iPad not connecting to internet.

Have you done a shutdown of your router? If not, shutdown the iPads and the router and remove the power to make sure it is truely down. What a few minutes then restart the router and after it has a few minutes to reset the base IP address, start the iPads and try to connect to the wireless.

Restart your WiFi router by removing power to it fo 30 seconds.

Check to make sure that MAC address filtering is not turned on in your router.

Test your iPads on another network. If they work there then you must have a problem in your wifi router. It might be time to replace it.

Also, did you check that MAC filtering is OFF in your router and that you don't have a limit on the number of connections?

Hi, after upgrading to IOS6 I have been having the same problem with my Ipad 2 and Netgear MBRN3000.

Previously everything was working fine.

Now, none of the solutions above seem to work at home and obviously I don't have control of wifi configurations around the world. In any case my personal router's settings are fine and I am not willing to change them.

I have also tried resetting the device a number of times.

So finally this is not my problem or routers problem this problem is due to apple (notice the lower case a) and it's faulty, buggy, ****** IOS6 release.

PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM ASAP AND POST AN UPDATE!!!!

Additional things to try.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
