Safari 6.0.1 Bookmarks Won't Change
I have trying to get safari setup so I can use it with work (many bookmarks). Unfortunately I have been unable to modify ANY bookmarks. I have not been able to add to them or remove them. From reading on other places in the Forums I have Safari unchecked in the iCloud settings to sync. When ever I have tried looking for Bookmarks.plist it doesn't exist. ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist doesn't exist as well as even ~/Library/Safari doesn't exist. The only Safari file I have been able to locate is ~/Users/me/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari and inside it are 2 folders, bookmarks and history. I have moved both to the desktop with safari closed and then restarted safari and the folders reapeared in the folder with the previsous contents(leaving them on the desktop as well). I have done the same thing and deleted them with safari closed (and emtied trash) with the same results. I am becoming very frustrated with trying to use safari. Any help would be appreciated.
