Q: Digital copy - code not valid

I'm using a digital copy on a DVD bought from a reputable store; I've followed the instructions but I just keep getting "code not valid". Why?

Don't laugh - it's a box set of Alvin & The Chipmunks - for my grandaughter, honestly!

One of them works but two of them are 'not valid'

From what I can tell, the digital copy offer for Alvin & the Chipmunks expired back in March; at least it did for the Blu-Ray version in the US. This is a scam being run by the movie studios; they advertise digital copies on the Blu-Ray and DVD disks they sell, but don't tell you up front that they're redeemable only for a limited time after the movie is first released. You may need to contact customer support for 20th Century Fox and get them to help:
