Ical has been "importing ICal data" for days. What is it importing and why can't I stop it? I also cannot shut down the computer as I can't close out I cal. I'm actually on ICloud.

This has been going on for 5 days and I cannot get the computer to shut down either without closing I Cal which will not close.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)
