Advice on switching from PC to Mac

I have a friend who will be starting a new job and she will be required to use a Mac, but she has always had to use a PC. She is willing, but is a little afraid of what to do in relation to how to get around. I have scoured Apple's own stuff, even emailed all of it to her for her to read, but I was wondering if anyone here could suggest something more, or some other source of valuable, easy to read, information that will help her necessary transition.
