Problems with my ipad

I have recently brought the new iPad. It was working perfectly and I loved it until I upgraded to the iOS 6. Now it only holds the wifi connection for about 20minuted then it cuts out and my connection goes. This is very irritating and I don't know why it is happening. Has anyone else had this problem? And what should I do ?
