Missing Garageband files?

In the last few months I have used "Apple Loops for Garageband" and "iLife Sound effetcs" a lot but recently I noticed that both folders are gone. When I try to launch GB it also says that my Instrument Library is invalid and other support files seem to be missing as well. Is there somewhere I can download these again or maybe install them from my installation disc (10.6 Snow Leopard).

I've started using "Clean My Mac" recently which may be the culprit...

Thanks,

Beware of cleaner applications - it is easy to delete important files from the system library this way.

Do you have backup of your system? Then restore the folders

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/

and

/Library/Audio/

This should restore the loops and instruments.

If you do not have a backup, you need to reinstall GarageBand. Do you have iLife installation Media?
