Q: originals missing

I always save my photos within the aperture progamme and not as referenced files. FOr some reason about 70% of my photos now have the badge that the original cannot be found. This is a complete mystery to me not to mention how angry I am. Any help is appreciated

I can tell you that I had that same thing happen to me when my hard drive got re-named. For some reason teh library seemed to embed the HD name in the full path to the image, and it couldn't find it at that path...

all my libraries are bcked up but when i restored this one i have the same problems. I've gone through the three steps , reparing, rebuilding etc and the positive bit is that it resurrected a couple of folders that I though I had lost but I still have the originals missing problem.

GeekBoy how did you fix it. The bizare thing is that in the info panel the photo size is still the size it should be
