After installing Quicktime 7.6.6, how do i get rid of the default quicktime that's in apps folder [it says version 10.1 (501.22)]?

I wish to uninstall the default quicktiime version 10.1 (501.22), as I have purchased quicktime 7 pro. Any suggestions on 'how to'? Thanks.
