my iPod shuffle not recognized with windows 7 (error code 43), Could you help me

Usually not a good sign. This is often an indication of a hardware issue with the device that you are trying to connect to your PC via USB.

The first thing to do is make sure the connections on each of the cable are nice and snug. I assume this same problem happens no matter what available USB port you plug it in to?

Do you have another sync cable you could use with the Shuffle to rule out the possibility that your current one is damaged/faulty?

I have this problem as well.. I just got a new cable for mine today but when I connect my ipod to my laptop, it does not reconize it and get Error Code 43.. I can access it by my PS3 but thats it.. I tried manythings to fix it but no good..
