using USB use to recharge UK iPhone in USA
Can we use USB cables here in the US to recharge iPod and iPhone equipment purchased and used in the UK?

Yes. USB is USB, regardless of what country you're in. Just don't allow the devices to sync to another computer if you don't want the content already on them to be erased.
