Purchased a song today on iTunes and it is in my iTunes library, but it is not in my iTunes window. I've tried dragging it in there, no luck. It is in my Purchased playlist, so I can play it from there, but it is not in my iTunes display. Any thoughts?

Delete the files from iTunes but do not let iTunes move them to the trash. Now go to where they are located in Finder and add them again. Does that work?
Unfortunately not. The only place it resides in iTunes is the Purchased folder. I deleted that and tried to drag the song to the Music folder. Nothing. I was able to drag the song from the Finder back to the Purchased folder, though.
Can you edit the song information in a get info window (make some temporary minor change)?
Have you restarted iTunes?
Are you running Match? That seems to be implicated in some slow updating by iTunes in other cases.
I can edit the information.
I have restarted my computer and closed and reopened iTunes.
I do have Match.
Edit the information and see if it now appears.
If you really cannot get this to work, try downloading the song again. If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (check this with iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track (and the original file) and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519). Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
Something may have gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem.
If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up.
