Purchased Songs in Library, but not in iTunes

Purchased a song today on iTunes and it is in my iTunes library, but it is not in my iTunes window. I've tried dragging it in there, no luck. It is in my Purchased playlist, so I can play it from there, but it is not in my iTunes display. Any thoughts?

Edit the information and see if it now appears.

If you really cannot get this to work, try downloading the song again. If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (check this with iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track (and the original file) and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519). See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4158297?answerId=19097773022#19097773022, especially unchecking the "Allow Simultaneous Downloads" box in the downloads tab of iTunes.

Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

Something may have gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem.

If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up.
