My appleTV does not remember podcast playback position
Is anyone else finding that video podcasts are not remembering their playback position despite standard movies remembering theirs? Thanks in advance.

I've noticed this as well. I hope it will be fixed soon because I used the older Apple TV to watch all my podcasts thinking the new Apple TV was going to be fantastic, only to find, first of all, NO Podcast app at all, and then, as you mentioned, when you do finally find a way to watch podcasts, no remembrance whatsoever of your last watched position!! Ugh!! So I've just been watching them in iTunes on my MAC computer, which is so sad because I paid $200 for an Apple TV upgrade, NOT a downgrade!
