iTunes charging my debit account instead of gift voucher

I redeemed a £15 iTunes voucher earlier today, and I bought an album thinking that it would take the money off the credit on my account, but instead it charged my out of my bank account! I'm so annoyed! Does anyone have a solution or an email address in which I could complain or reclaim the money from my bank account?
