On iMovie 11, is there a way to add the name of your movie-making company in a project without a theme?

There are several ways to do this. You can use the Picture in Picture feature, or you could use the Cutaway feature.

Karsten Schlüter wrote up a good User Tip on this using Picture in Picture.

Also, there is good info on Karsten's website.

OK One thing that might help you is that you can create a Trailer with the logo you want. You can leave most of it blank if you want, but put in your company name.

OK Now go to the Project Library view and select this trailer. Then FILE/CONVERT TO PROJECT.

Now your trailer is converted to an iMovie Project and you can edit it with all the capabilities of iMovie. If you change the theme, I am not sure if you will lose the Logo, but it is worth trying.
