To really calibrate it is expensive & difficult, but open ColorSync Utility for a start, or in the Print Dialog look for Colorsync>Color Conversion, & Quarz Filter>Lightness Decrease.

Hi BDAqua, just to let you know "preview" is the one that works for me, I get all the options I used to get on my PC, all the colour options, brightness, saturation, print in greyscale, ect, ect, where I was going wrong, I was trying to print form E10 which doesnt have all these options, but if I adjust the image in E10 and paste it into pictures and open "print" from there, it works perfect, thanks again.........Mick.

p.s. Hope this may be of help to others with the same problem.

Hi BDAqua,

I cannot get this box to pop up in either Preview or PSElements, which is the current photo editing software I'm using. The box has a "color matching" portion, and a colorsync button to click. Then I can choose from various printer settings, adobe settings, and one iMac setting, none of which gave me good color matching and the photos still have lost much of their vibrancy. (Yes, I printed the same photo on photo paper about 20 times to compare.)

Any other hints? I'm desperate!

P.S. I'm on OS 10.7.5
