powered usb hub or non-powered usb hub

I have two devices that I want to hang off the AEBS via a usb hub.

The two devices are a Lacie 1TB HD and a Canon MX330 All-In-One printer.

Both devices have their own power supplies.

Is it OK if I purchase a non-powered USB hub to plug into my AEBS?

Any suggestions on a manufacturer?
