I have an iPod classic that charges, like normal, but the battery life is nonexistent. I need to know if I can get this serviced? And where?

Yes. You have 1 of three routes:

1) Have Apple replace the battery in it for a flat fee. See this page for pricing http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/ and this page for setting up the service request. http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=servicefaq&geo=United_States&product=ipod

2) Locate and utiltize a third party service (there may even be some shops/service centers in your area). I have no suggestions as to which one is better than another, so for now you'll have to Google for "iPod battery replacement" and you should get a number of results. This is slightly cheaper than the Apple route although a bit riskier in terms of having the job done right.

3) If you consider yourself handy with small electronics you can purchase a new battery from an online retailer and use one of the numerous guides online to swap it out yourself. I usually stick with http://www.ifixit.com for parts and step-by-step guides. Of course this route is the cheapest, but is the most difficult.
