Question: Scrabble app isn't loading on iPad

After using it successfully for over a year, suddenly my Scrabble app (purchased, not free) won't load on my iPad. I was even willing to buy it again from iTunes, but when I tried, it turned out I could update it for free (that was nice). The app icon is on my iPad, but still it won't load. When I touch it, the screen begins with the dark scrabble screen but then reverts to the regular screen rather than loading the scrabble game. Any solutions?

Hi susanmarcia,


Have you tried restarting your iPad? Hold down the Home button and the Sleep button at the same time and continue to hold them until the silver Apple appears (ignore the red slider). Once the iPad restarts, try to load your Scrabble app again. If it still does not load, let us know!

OK, here's what I would suggest. Delete the App from your iPad and from iTunes on your computer, and then sync your iPad to iTunes on your computer without the app. Then redownload the app in iTunes, and then re-sync your iPad to get the app downloaded via the sync.


Totally clean start?


Or have you already gone that route as well? Let me know - we can continue to explore options....🙂

I bought my Hasbro Scrabble App for my iPad last year. It has not loaded periodically, but I've always managed to resolved it by shutting down and turning it back on. I think I went through "Origin" ???


Anyway, I tried loading it today (I had about 10 games going) and it gives me the message: Network Error: There seems to be a problem connecting to Facebook. You may experience reduced functionality as a result (continue)..... I press continue and nothing happens. I think I got this sort of message before and it has resolved on its own. Now it doesn't seem to be doing anything!!!


I tried shutting my iPad off and back on and usually that works, but I'm getting the same thing. Have I lost all my scrabble games? Nothing wrong with my connecting with internet! And how can "origin" help
