how can i speed up my mac

My mac seems to be sluggish. How can I clean it to get it faster.

Make sure there's enough available disk space.


Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop then click Get Info.


You'll see Capacity and Available in the Get Info panel.


Make sure there's at least 15% available disk space. Less than that can slow your Mac down.



Avoid installing any third party Mac cleaning utilities such as CCleaner or MacKeeper as they tend to do more harm than good. Your Mac runs maintenance in the background for you.
