iCloud question
I have iCloud on on both devices ipad and iphone 5, but no data is transferring. Does anyone know what I should do?, both are up to date as well.

What data are you trying to sync? If it's one of the Apple databases, like contacts or calenders, go to Settings>icloud and turn on the services you want to sync on your devices. I'm assuming you have logged into your icloud account.
