Is The Original Elgato Eyetv USB (2002) NTSC Only?

I just found an old Elgato Eyetv original (http://support.elgato.com/images/eyetvusb.jpg), and was just wondering if it is an NTSC only device or if I can plug a PAL PS2 into the composite video port here in the UK. Since I have an old iMac G3 to test it.
