So I'm sure this is a pretty common question here but I have yet to find an answer that works.
I have almost 2GB of "Other" on my iPhone 4 and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Ive tried restoring my iPhone, uninstalling apps that I dont use that often, and have gone through my phone to get rid of any unnecessary items. But no luck.
Any ideas?
I am on iOS 6

the other is for the info and data that are within your apps and music.. it has to save the info you go through on your apps and stuff

I get that but I have never had 1.85gb of it before. From what I have been reading, anything below 1gb is normal. Anything over is NOT normal.
Ok, I followed your directions and while I got rid of a bunch of pictures and videos from my camera roll, my "Other" actually went up to 1.88gb. So, getting rid of all my apps is not an option since I have a number of games that I would like to keep playing and not have to redo.
A restore of your phone should clean up the other storage back to normal.
From iCloud or iTunes?
I use itunes in this insatnce and i restore from backup. Some people have had to restore as new, i have not.
Ok, I will give that a shot. If I backup to iTunes, will it back up ALL of my apps?
If your have then synced, yes.
