Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Just wondering as some people have seemed to have gotten theirs, but they might have pre-ordered them from apple. I was just going to wait and go to a local retail store to buy mine, but want to double check before I head out to buy one to make sure they are in fact in store or if it wont be until monday for everyone else who didn't pre-order. Thanks

My local apple store has them in stock and you can demo them now
I'm from Michigan in the united states, but I would not be buying from an apple store, as there is not one where I live if that matters.
Then you would need to call the store you would be purchasing from. No one here will know.
Okay, I called Best Buy and the girl I spoke with told me they have a pending release date of the 21st.
You can phone them up and pre-order one or wait till the 21st but to pre order you may get it a few days late so I suggest wait until the 21st and from the apple store or a shop that sells them. Good Luck :)
