TS1368 Trouble with backup

I went to backup my 4g iphone 4s and it tells me the apple mobile device is not started. I have had my phone over a year and this is the first time this has happened. Does anyone have a solution?

    A simple search of the forums for the error message appearing would have answered your question and provided troubleshooting steps to resolve.


    Try helping yourself... it's faster than waiting for a response.
