Leopard with windows through boot camp

I downloaded windows xp through boot camp today. The installation instructions say I also need to download leopard to the windows side. Do I really need to install mac ox s leopard to the windows side of my mac? And what does leopard do? Will I bee fine without downloading it?

Need clarification.

BootCamp makes a partition on the hard drive which can then accomodate a Windows installation. You have to have a genuine retail XP installation disk in order to install after using BootCamp to make the partition. The Leopard disk has the Apple drivers necessary for Windows to function on Apple hardware properly and is installed when booted from Windows.
