Video doesn't appear in camera pane/video section

I purchased Series 1 of Breaking Bad from iTunes, downloaded the first episode, click-and-dragged it to a 'compatible' SD card, put the connection kit into my iPad, nothing. Added a photo to the SD card. Nothing. Added another photo to the SD card, again, nothing. This is silly. I haven't altered or jailbroken or anything my iPad. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks 🙂
