Ios6 data connection

2 major problems with my iphone 5,

1. Connecting to 3G networks...when moving from either being connect to wifi or in an area with poor coverage the phone will not attach to the 3G when available. The symbol lights up stating that device is attached but no data comes through. Only way to resolve is to restart the phone. This problem is worse when roaming overseas where the device will not connect to any data network! All phone and carrier settings have been checked and rechecked. Device has been factory reset etc.

2. Battery life..a lot WORSE than on my 4S.
