Q: I cannot print from ipad (with latest iOS) to modern canon printer via usb port on airport express 1st generation. Am i right in thinking this is only supported from macs and not ios devices?

Please see title above. Does anyone know if this is correct? Many thanks

    iOS requires an AirPrint-capable printer in order to print. This is different from traditional Mac (or WIndows) printing methods since it doesn't require specific drivers installed on the host system.

     

    Apple have a technote that list known AirPrint-compatible printers. You'll need to see if your model is listed.
