One Book SLOW To Load, While Others Fast...

Hello,

I just purchased a book (The Ultimate Guide to House Framing) and find that it is very slow to load compared to the others in my iBook library. When it is chosen, all that you see are blank pages that take an average of 8-12 seconds to load. The same is true with flipping pages, HA, if they even respnd to the gesture. Trying to bring up menu items is equally as quirky. Once again, other books are snappy to respond and function as designed.

I have tried a variety of troubleshooting measures to correct the issue, including the extreme of completely wiping my iPad 3 (with OS 6) and reloading all my data, without effecting this problem. Yup, I even wiped out all notes and highlights. Any other suggestions? I almost want to say that there is something wrong with the way that this particular book is digitally formatted. Regardless, it is useless the way that it is and I need to ask for a refund if I can't find a solution to the issue.

UPDATE:

I wiped/reloaded my iPad 3 for a second time, deleted any trace of the problem book, requested another download from iTunes Support, and installed a new copy of the book. No change. I further tested the same book on my iPhone 5. Still no change, while all other books remained snappy to page turning and other functions on all devices. The obvious conclusion was that there was an issue with the way the book was formatted and/or digitslly constructed. iTunes Support gave me a complete refund for the book without any hassle.

So, I guess that sometimes there is a problem with the media and not the machine. If you are having a similar problem with a book, you should try all the troubleshooting that you can to iscolate the issue, but take comfort in knowing that a refund can be had if the problem persists.
