I don't think anyone will be able to troubleshoot this based on "magic mouse disconnects". When? How often? Under what circumstances?

Try The Following

• Replace Batteries
• Re-sync the mouse do this by removing the mouse by the bluetooth symbol in the extreme right of the screen.
• Re-add mouse
• or replace your mouse is it insured?

I agree with bispymusic, we need more information.

Does it randomly disconnect while using it? Or is it not connecting upon startup?

The Problem is not the batterys but the length of the tip of the batterys some battery tips on the + side are slightly shorter than others and the contacts on the plus side in the magic mouse are slightly reccessed and thats whats causing this issue i have seen it with some other products before if you take a little aluminum foil and make a small ball and put it in the hole where the plus contact is the problem will go away if you do not want to use foil just choose batteys that match the original with a slighty longer tip on the plus side.
