iPhone to iCloud upload - tasks and reminders

Hi, I have iCloud enabled on iPhone and iPad (iOS 6). If I add a new task on iPad, it syncs with iCloud and appears on iPhone shortly. However, if I add a task on iPhone, it does not upload to iCloud and does not sync with iPad.

I have deleted and reenabled my iCloud account on iPhone but that has not helped. An additional piece of input is that I installed errands fully paid version but suspecting it caused the issue, have deleted it since.
